Nicole Stamp is an accomplished actor, director, and writer. She has hosted TV shows for Rogers, Discovery, and TVOntario, where she earned two Gemini Awards among 6 nominations. Her acting credits include Dan For Mayor, Living In Your Car, Avenue Q, The Dream in High Park, and two years with the Second City National Touring Company.
Nicole was invited into the Playwrights’ Units at both Theatre Passe Muraille and the Tarragon Theatre, she wrote 10 episodes of the popular EnviroGirl miniseries for TVOntario, and her one-woman show, Better Parts, has played to critical acclaim in Toronto, Montreal, Pittsburgh, and England. Nicole has directed 40 new Canadian plays and several award-winning short films, and she’s the a recipient of a Toronto Arts Award for Excellence and Innovation in Theatre. Incidentally, she also holds a Guinness World Record for playing Dodgeball for 36 hours without sleeping, which felt exactly how it sounds.
As an instructor, Nicole has taught at U of T, Sheridan College, Robert Morris University, TDSB, Peel Region School Board and the Banff Centre, among others.
